Code of Conduct Policy

Overview

The following Code of Conduct Policy is in place to keep and withhold the YETI Lacrosse program to the highest ethical standards and is required and expected to be upheld by all participants, coaches, parents and athletes.

The Code of Conduct Policy applies to all YETI Lacrosse activities including, but not limited to; leagues, practice, game and tournaments whether local or out of our normal logistical area.

Conduct Policy Details
1. As a parent / athlete / coach associated with YETI Lacrosse I;

1.1 ...pledge to provide positive support and encouragement for my athlete and coaches in the YETI Lacrosse Program, by following these ethical policies.
1.2 ...will encourage good sportsmanship by demonstrating positive support for all athletes, coaches and officials at every game, practice and special event.
1.3. ..will place the emotional and physical well-being of my athlete ahead of a personal desire to win.
1.4 ...will support coaches and officials working with my athlete, in order to encourage a positive and enjoyable experience.
1.5 ...commit to maintaining a sports environment for that is free of drugs, tobacco and alcohol and will refrain from their use at all YETI Lacrosse events, games, practices or gatherings.
1.6. ..will remember that the game is for the athletes - not adults and will do my very best to make this experience fun for everyone involved.
1.7. treat other players, coaches, fans, and officials with respect regardless of race, sex, creed, ability or skill

Social Media Conduct Policy Details

1. As a parent / athlete / coach associated with YETI Lacrosse I;

1.1 ...will use discretion while using social media (i.e. Facebook, twitter and many others) with respect to the YETI LACROSSE program and its participants.
1.2. ..will not post comments, pictures, opinions, reviews, remarks or any other degrading or judgmental information regarding any team, player, coach, referee, judge or other participant within the entire YETI LACROSSE program and programs that we participate in.

Infractions

Code of Conduct infractions are brought before the YETI Directors in which a decision shall be rendered regarding the severity and impact.  There are no exceptions for severe Code of Conduct infractions. 

1. Parents / Athletes / Related Persons

1.1.  Automatic removal of the offender from the YETI program, including but not limited to; attending any YETI practice, game, tournament or other YETI event or
1.2.  No refunds or credits are given or offered

2. Coach/Director/Staff infractions

2.1.  ANY infraction regardless of severity are logged via the YETI Lacrosse Disciplinary Form
2.2.  As rendered by the YETI Directors, severe code of conduct infractions may result in termination of the coach/director/staff.
